Thank you to Nancy Stober, Carolyn Drosd and Marcia Elliott for their continued support, labeling and organization of the charity quilts donated, and the charity fabric we have in storage. So many of our members continue to provide charity quilts and I want to thank you all for your support and giving of your time and skills to our mission of charity within our community.

February 2022:
Marcia delivered 23 quilts to Camp Erin.
Nancy and Carolyn delivered 25 quilts to Cares Northwest, and
Carolyn also met with Kaiser Hospice to give them 23 quilts.

Charity Sewing at The Springs at Tanasbourne

• When: Feb 13th , Mar 13th , Apr 10th (2nd Mondays)
• Where: The Springs at Tanasbourne (on Cornell Road, near Whole Foods)
• Time: 9 AM – Noon (Optional: Stay and eat lunch at the restaurant)
This is a relatively small group gathering, and we have limited space. Please let me know if you would like to join us, but have not attended this year, as I would hate to turn folks away. We have space for about 15, and so far, we’ve had 9 or 10 participate.
All you have to bring is your machine and a charity project. If you don’t have a charity project, don’t worry; we have a simple one you can work on while you enjoy sewing with others, laughing, talking and spending time with friends.

Charity Quilt Project – Donate Your Orphan Blocks
We have created a new Charity Project for those beloved orphan blocks that we all have, and we want them to go to a good home!
Patty Dobbs is collecting orphan and/or unwanted blocks of any size during the months of November, December and January; and she will use them in charity quilts. (We’ve all seen the magic Patty creates with a simple quilt made of orphan blocks!) These may then be included in charity quilt kits in the near future. Please bring any block donations to the next three guild meetings (November, December, January)
